NYX Gaming Announces a NZRB Partnership Agreement

NYX Gaming Group, a leading digital gaming supplier on a global scale, revealed that it has inked a new partnership deal with the New Zealand Racing Board (NZRB). Under the terms of the agreement, the two parties will work in collaboration over the detailed design phase of the new Fixed-Odds Betting platform project of the New Zealand Racing Board.

The Chief Executive Officer of NYX Gaming Group Matt Davey, commented on the partnership deal, saying that the impeccable reputation of the sportsbook, gaming, bingo and lottery software supplier was one of the main reasons why the company had been chosen by the NZRB for its FOB platform project. Mr. Davey said that everyone at NYX Gaming was honoured to be joining forces with the NZRB.

NYX Gaming enters this partnership agreement via its wholly-owned sportsbook division OpenBet. The latter is to join forces with the New Zealand Racing Board in order to improve its manual-fixed odds betting business. This, on the other hand, will not only enhance the offerings of the NZRB, but will also help it keep its content in line with customers’ expectations and demand. Recently, the country’s racing board has been primarily focused on becoming more competitive to wagering organisations on a global scale by establishing an omni-channel player account.

Part of this NZRB’s policy is increase of the distribution the Board has in the industry and consolidate its presence in the market through a sustainable policy related to sports and racing in the long-term.

The New Zealand Racing Board was formed under the Racing Act 2003. Currently, it operates as the official sports betting and racing agency.

The Board of Directors’ Chairman of NZRB Glenda Hughes confirmed of the agreement. She revealed that the selection process had been long and rigorous, but the choosing of NYX Gaming was expected to bring the first-class quality to the Racing Board’s fixed odds betting engine.

Ms. Hughes also said that the NZRB had been very glad with the fact it would be joining forces with the company and was looking forward to start working on the design process and deliver an excellent experience for customers of TAB.

The NYX’ OpenBet unit was chosen after the long selection process was finalised. It has been chosen for the fact it proved to be particularly strong on all the retail, online and mobile sport and in-play betting activities.
